Liar, Liar Pants on Fire
Actually, I think writing about how much BDA’s SUCK will make me feel better. Just a few of the complete and total lies I heard this week AND caught them in:
Lie: Files were delivered to printer on time, at 3:00 PM.
Reality: HELLO dumbass. You forwarded me the email saying they were delivered at 5:36 PM aka WAY too late to make our deadline. Why were you 2.5 hours past the deadline? Because you were too F-ing lazy to prepare the files for the printer. We didn’t even have any changes for you to make!! In fact, we sent in our approval at 9:05am!!!
Lie: Making the background transparent will take an additional 4+ days.
Reality: HELLO, if you’re a total Photoshop amateur, it might take 5 minutes. Even without the original files, I could do it in 4 minutes. Why do I know this? Because I taught our Strategic Partnerships and Promotions Manager, who has NO Photoshop experience, how to do it. She did it in, wait for it… 5 minutes.
Lie: The logo only looks crappy and blurry in the proof.
Reality: HELLO, I still don’t understand it, but you are COMPLETE morons when it comes to sending proofs. Your proofs are always ridiculously high res. I promise that however it looks in the proof will be what the final version looks like… blurry and shitty. Fix it. Now. Like she said to. We have approximately 7 main people on our account. We copy all of them on every email. Are you telling me that not one of our dedicated 7 people had time to get us what we wanted when we wanted it?!
Yep, BDA’s officially SUCK. And yep, I’m already starting to feel better
