Big Love
Thanks to twitter and @webofsecrets, I started watching Big Love. It’s great. But, I feel sorry for the husband. Admittedly, I’ve never experienced polygamy, but, if I was the guy, I don’t think I could handle it. Here’s why:
- – One woman is temperamental enough. Can you imagine having to deal with three? Especially when all three had the same “visitor” at the same time of the month.
- – Just look at the three wives in the show. No matter how hard women try, there’s always jealously and cattiness. Humans are naturally competitive, more so when it comes to survival of the fittest.
- – Poor guy has to stick to a schedule. He can’t deviate it from it or he risks making the other two women upset or jealous. What happens if I want steak instead of chicken for dinner? If I could never choose on a whim, I think I’d become bitter and frustrated.
In case you were wondering, I don’t think I’ll be experimenting with polygamy anytime soon. I’m just not a fan of schedules and planning
